Today, on 27 August, on the beginning of Lviv City Council's regular sitting, City Mayor Andrii Sadovyi announced the creation of a new group of councilors titled UKROP. Reaction of Svoboda faction members was quite extraordinary – they presented two packages of buckwheat to members of this new group.

They wanted to remind in such a way about a widespread method of indirect bribery, used by the UKROP party in July election in Chernihiv.

The group comprises ex-Svoboda members Andrii Khomytskyi, Serhii Podolynnyi, Sviatoslav Makitra and Taras Semushchak. The group was chaired by the Head of permanent Lviv City Council Committee of Engineering Economy, Transport and Communication Ivan Hrynda. It should be mentioned that it's the second group created by councilors. They have already left the Svoboda faction on the beginning of the year and initiated creation of the European Lviv group.

Official presentation of the UKROP political party in Lviv is planned for tomorrow.
