Mobile application "2014 Election", jointly created by the Civil Network OPORA and the Institute of Mass Information contains a "survival kit" for observers, journalists, and active voters during the Early Parliamentary elections on 26 October 2014. This application will allow you to always have:

- Law of Ukraine on Elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine and explanation of official observers' and journalists' rights;

- General instructions for official observers;

- Tips for mass media representatives covering the election campaign;

- Easy-to-use classification of typical electoral violations;

- Sample complaints and appeals against unlawful actions and inaction of the corresponding bodies, as well as administrative and criminal violations; tips on where and how to submit the corresponding appeals;

- Sources of official information about campaign financing;

- Information about the election campaign, political advertising, and opinion polls;

- Verification of election commission protocols;

- Knowledge test on electoral legislation;

- Sample reports on violations against journalists;

Civic monitoring conducted by OPORA - is a type of network activity, aimed at impartial assessment of the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as preventing electoral violations through comprehensive civic action. Starting from September 2014, Civil Network OPORA conducts a large-scale observation of special parliamentary elections in Ukraine. The organization will attract 213 long-term observers in every region of Ukraine to monitor the campaign from its official start to announcement of the final election results. On the Election Day on May 26, more than 2,000 activists will join them to conduct statistically-based parallel vote tabulation.
OPORA will systematically inform the public about the course of election campaign, and whether electoral subjects adhere to the electoral legislation, officials participate in the race, and all the interested parties follow international standards. Large-scale civic observation is aimed to prevent violations during the election campaign and abuses during the vote count process.
