During the elections of the President of Ukraine, 16 administrative violations related to the election process were reported in Khmelnytsk oblast. This number is ten times smaller than during Parliamentary elections in 2012. Deputy Chairman of the MIAU Roman Havryliuk has provided such information during a briefing in the Oblast Department of the MIAU.

"Besides 1,700 law-enforcement officers, 1,340 representatives of NGOs helped to ensure law and order during the election process. These organizations are the Self-Defense, Cossacks, Automaidan, different civic formations, and simple active citizens," – explained the Chairman of Oblast Militia Department Oleksandr Roziznanyi.

Although such a large number of civic activists were attracted to secure public order, the role of militia officers is priceless without video surveillance. Regional observation coordinator Andrii Popyk stressed this fact during the press-conference on the summary of election campaign. "From Thursday, when the precinct election commissions received the ballots, till the polling stations finished reporting to the DECs, militia officers were on duty, without proper conditions for such a long period, - Andrii Popyk told journalists. – They spent four days in complicated conditions – there was no place to sleep (they slept on blankets, floor, of chairs). Taking into consideration that a lot of female law-enforcement officers were attracted to the night watch at polls, these basic conditions were very important.
