On 26 May in the evening, Mykolaiv city election commission has received and processed the protocols on voting results in 4 raion election commissions in city of Mykolaiv, and voted for the protocol on the results of voting during special elections of Mykolaiv mayoral election, and then for the protocol on the determination of election results.

We remind that 19 candidates participated in electoral race for this position, including the Secretary of City Council, who is also the Acting City Mayor, Yurii Hranaturov. The General Director of the LYMAN Ship Mechanical Plant PJSC Serhii Isakov was his main competitor.

181827 of 370001 voters voted in 205 polling stations in Mykolaiv. However, 181777 of ballots were counted, and 3785 were considered invalid.

Yurii Hranaturov has received 50347 votes, Serhii Isakov - 41516.

Civic monitoring conducted by OPORA - is a type of network activity, aimed at impartial assessment of the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as preventing electoral violations through comprehensive civic action.

Since March, OPORA conducts a wide observation campaign during snap Presidential election, interim Parliamentary elections (district #83), and special local elections. The organization cooperates with 175 long-term observers, who are watching the course of election campaign in all Ukrainian regions. On the Election Day on May 25, 3,000 activists will join them to conduct the parallel vote tabulation, based on statistical sample.
