Managing positions of PECs were allocated during the formation of precinct election commissions. The number of heads, deputy heads, and commission secretaries representing Presidential candidates was proportional to the number of candidacies, submitted to PECs. To determine this proportional part of the DEC, the "Election of the President of Ukraine" information and analytic system was used.

In result, Yuliia Tymoshenko received the biggest number of managing positions in PECs – 314 persons. Oleh Tiahnybok and Petro Poroshenko have a little less number of representatives – 311 and 306 persons respectively.

However, if we talk about the certain positions, a representative of the AUU Svoboda Oleh Tiahnybok has the biggest number of heads of PECs – 112; Yuliia Tymoshenko and Petro Poroshenko received 107 and 103 respectively.

Yuliia Tymoshenko has the biggest number of deputy heads of PECs – 107. Mykola Malomuzh is the next (101).

Oleh Tiahnybok has the biggest number of secretaries in election commissions – 103. Serhii Tihipko has only one secretary less – 102. Poroshenko and Tymoshenko have 100 secretaries of PECs each.

Civic monitoring conducted by OPORA - is a type of network activity, aimed at impartial assessment of the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as preventing electoral violations through comprehensive civic action. Since March, OPORA conducts a wide observation campaign during snap Presidential election, interim Parliamentary elections (district #83), and special local elections. The organization cooperates with 175 long-term observers, who are watching the course of election campaign in all Ukrainian regions. On the Election Day on May 25, 3,000 activists will join them to conduct the parallel vote tabulation, based on statistical sample.
