CPU (the Communist Party of Ukraine) leader Petro Symonenko held a meeting with voters on 18 July in Kherson. OPORA representatives discovered that predominantly students and pensioners from Novorontsovsk rayon of Kherson oblast were present on the square in front of administrative building of Oblast state administration.Kherson2332

Observers of OPORA had found 6 buses with people which agreed to come to Kherson for 20 UAH. This sum was mentioned by a pensioner woman who accepted the proposition from specialists of oblast branch of the CPU.

Provided that every bus can seat up to 40 people, and the fare is 8 hrn/km (the information was provided by transport companies in Kherson), then those meeting costed CPU more than 20 thousand UAH!

The reward 20 UAH plus the price of return ticket is around 84 UAH per person!

Nevertheless, Petro Symonenko paid a working visit and in rayons and oblast center he presented a potential candidate - the MP of Ukraine, member of the CPU, in rayons and Secretary of the Committee on Science and Education Kateryna Samoilyk, which will stand as a candidate in the ED #186 centered in Tsuriupynsk.
