Unknown persons have stolen the portable voting box at polling station #440265 in village of Hrechyshkyno, Novoaidarskyi raion.

A commission member has reported to civic observers of the OPORA that: "During the visit to voters' homes, unknown people have seized the portable voting box with filled in ballots. Only 10 people have managed to vote. Besides that, the driver of vehicle which transported commission members and the portable voting box was threatened with physical retribution. After this incident, the voter refused to transport ballots after the end of voting, because he's afraid for his life and property.

Thus, commission members are looking for other automobile, which will secure transportation of ballots after the tabulation, and have suspended the voting at home. The voting at polling station continues.

Civic monitoring conducted by OPORA - is a type of network activity, aimed at impartial assessment of the preparation and conduct of elections, as well as preventing electoral violations through comprehensive civic action.
