On 28 October, 5 members of the DEC #106 (centered in the city of Sievierodonetsk), including the Head Yurii Mariin, have resigned because they were threatened. Thus, the Deputy Head of the DEC #106 Volodymyr Blintsov will the the Acting Head.

Observers of the Civil Network OPORA received an information that 5 members of the DEC #106 have resigned. Andrii Shcherbonos, member of the DEC #106 who has also resigned confirmed this fact: "On today's press-conference, MP candidates Shekhova, Yefymenko, Ivonivna, and Liubara affirmed that the election process was unfair and nontransparent, and the DEC #106 has falsified the results. Our DEC voted for re-counting of votes at polling stations #441163, #441172, #441187, #441188, #441193, and #441206. After an hour, the CEC has urgently and unexpectedly substituted 7 members of our DEC. After this, we, 5 members of the DEC including the Head Yurii Mariin, decided to apply for resignation due to the psychological pressure and impossibility to work in such circumstances. Thus, the Deputy Head Volodymyr Blintsov will be Acting Head now. Besides that, we mentioned in the appeal that there-s a threat to our life and health. In fact, leaflets with our photos, initials, and addresses are disseminated in cities occupied by militants of the LPR. They wrote in these leaflets that we're fascist accomplices as long as we participate in the Parliamentary elections, and we must be executed by shooting for this," - tells Andrii Shcherbonos.

Secretary of the DEC #106 Ruslan Podoliaka has confirmed that 5 members of the DEC #106 have resigned: "Today, on 28 October, 7 substitutions were made in the membership of DEC #107. 5 members of the DEC wrote resignation letters, explaining that their lives and healths is under threat," - Ruslan Podoliaka told.
