On 18 October, the Lysychanks City Department of Militia received a report from the Head of DEC concerning disappearance of a seal of precinct election commission #440944, located in Lysychansk Professional Lyceum. The fact was registered in the Lysychanks City Department of MIA. We conduct further verification.

Deputy Head of the DEC #107 Svitlana Shevelieva gave observers of Civil Network OPORA a comment on the incident: "On 17 October, our Head noticed that one seal from a polling station in Lysychansk disappeared. I don't know which exactly. Concerning the reason why it disappeared - whether it was stolen or lost - law enforcement bodies investigate it now," - told Svitlana Shevelieva.

Observers of Civil Network OPORA also received a comment on this fact from the Deputy Head of the PEC #440944 Olena Kokodyniak: "The seal disappeared from our polling station on 17 October, particularly from the office of our PEC. We reported its disappearance to the police, and policemen searched the office, and questioned all members of PEC. The situation is being investigated. However, our election commission declines the theory that the seal was stolen to disrupt elections. Maybe a student of the Lyceum took it as a joke, but is afraid to return because of possible punishment," - told Olen Kokodryniak.
