On 11 October 2011 at 11.00, in IA "Ukrainian National News", Civil Network OPORA will air the results of monitoring conducted in 15 regions of Ukraine. The activists of organization estimated the work of local governments, mayors, the level of openness and transparency of local politics, and whether the work fulfills  the pre-election promises.

The monitoring was aimed on estimation of mayor and council activity efficiency in formation and implementation of local politics, the determination of the most important issues in the community development, the solution of problems in the sphere of social, economical and humanitarian development, mayor activity during the first 100 days of tenure. In the course of the monitoring 2 expert researches were accomplished, with 480 experts involved in each, and field observation of all sessions of 15 city councils during the six months of project activity. The expert inquiry was conducted among the representatives of NGOs, analytical centers, research institutes, city ventures and mass media. The expert selection was made by the method of “snowball”.
