Yesterday night, DEC No.223 was adjourned. Today, after ten o'clock, they have resumed the meeting but they are working very slowly deliberately delaying the process. In this district, a desperate struggle is going on between the candidate of Svoboda Yurii Levchenko and self-nominated candidate Viktor Pylypyshyn.

As it is known, district commission No.223 currently isn't working. However, the work is going very slowly, and the process is being delayed. OPORA observer told about the events of last night.

At 7.20pm, Head of the DEC Yurii Lytvyshko adjourned the meeting until 10am today.  However, right after it, PEC members began to protest. After 8pm, Mr Lytvyshko tried to leave the premises of the DEC but representatives of the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda and members of the DEC didn't let him.

Members of the PEC and Svoboda blocked the exits from the building stopping all those members of the DEC who hadn't left after the adjournment yet. Head of the DEC called someone urgently to consult.

At 8.15pm, Arsenii Yatseniuk and Oleh Tiahnybok arrived to the DEC accompanied by journalists. They tried to get a quorum and resume work of the commission.

After Yatseniuk and Tiahnybok left the premises, representatives of Viktor Pylypyshyn arrived to the DEC.

A person unknown who arrived together with the representatives of Pylypyshyn was actively consulting the Head of the Commission. Two members of the DEC declared they wouldn't participate in the meeting and were willing to submit statements of withdrawal. In the evening, the work still hasn't been resumed.

Interestingly, Yurii Lytvyshko is already the third Head of this DEC (from the All-Ukrainian Political Party BROTHERHOOD).  In 2010, he was a member of DEC No.223 representing presidential candidate Volodymyr Lytvyn.

Yesterday, wrong data in favour of Viktor Pylypyshyn were submitted to the CEC server.
